Piping Design Engineer – Kakkanad, Cochin Kerala(JOB CODE 210416G)

B.E/ B.Tech Mechanical Engineering graduates with 2-10 years experience in machinery design department of a shipyard, design consultancy or classification society.

Functional Area : Should be up-to-date with the latest rules and developments in the industry, Familiar with Ship classification society rules and regulations (LLOYDS, ABS, IRS, DNV, IMO, IMS, NES) and practical ship building standards & procedures.

Conversant with ships machinery and piping system design, piping standards, routing and modeling. 

Should be able to guide junior engineers and support them with required technical know how to do the design. Should be able to prepare formal document / reports.

Working experience in Basic, Detail and Production design is essential.
